Few minutes to voting at Unguwar Doki of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, a bomb blast occurred at one of the polling centres leaving more than ten people injured.
A police woman had her hands and legs chopped off, while the two eyes of the presiding officer were plucked out by the blast which occurred around 11.50 a.m. Dozens of military personnel and anti bomb squad of the police were seen at the scene. Though the commandant of the Joint Task Force (JTF), a lieutenant colonel, was seen at the scene, he did not speak to journalists.

be difficult to identify the people that dropped the bomb as everybody at the scene was seen as a potential voter. “I am afraid, the police woman and the INEC man may likely die because of the intensity of the injuries they sustained,” one of the witnesses said.
If reports coming in are anything to go by, then PDP may be loosing it's hold as the ruling party.As at the time of writing this , voting in some states suggest that the ACN is indeed sweeping majority of the votes in their favor.
