The legal battles between Milian and The Dream continue this week, but this time over the right’s to Justin Bieber’s 2009 mega-smash “Baby.” As part of their divorce proceedings, Milian was reportedly awarded 10 percent of The-Dream’s earnings from the song, which the couple helped write and produce. The Dream (real name Terius Nash) is now claiming that Christina is demanding more than the agreed upon percentage. In fact, The-Dream has frozen all spousal payments following an attempt by Christina to renegotiate the terms of their split.
Milian’s lawyer tells TMZ.com: “Mr. Nash filed for divorce. He wanted the divorce, not our client. She then agreed to resolve it peacefully and outside of the court. Now his lawyer is writing me saying there’s no agreement when we 100% made an agreement on the record.”
The couple filed for divorce last year after steamy pictures of The Dream vacationing with his Latina assistant were posted on the Internet.
