The mega 1992 hit "The Bodyguard" has received the green light for a remake according to rumours flying round. The film starred Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, propelling the latter to

super stardom, not to mention the impact of Houston's rendition of Dolly Porton's "I'll Always Love You"!
According to Deadline.com; the remake will be tweaked to make Costner's character a former Iraq War veteran, who is recruited to watch the star as his first job after leaving the Army. Whitney's replacement must be a young talented singer with "global appeal"
So who will take over the reigns of Whitney Houston? Rihanna who's scarcely dabbled in acting and a questionable vocal range; Jennifer Hudson with an unquestionable vocal range and Oscar to boot for her role in Dreamgirls or Beyonce with equal vocal prowess yet slightly questionable acting skills?
