The Forbes Football Rich List Top Ten:

 1. David Beckham      (LA Galaxy & Milan)     €30 m
 2. Cristiano Ronaldo   (Real Madrid)                €22 m
 3. Kaka                      (Real Madrid)                €17.5 m
 4. Ronaldinho             (Milan)                          €17.5 m
 5. Thierry Henry         (Barcelona)                    €16 m

 9. Zlatan Ibrahimovic   (Barcelona)                    €11 m
10. Steven Gerrard       (Liverpool)                     €10.5 m

Seems beckamania is not going to stop anytime soon, not with all the money he is getting from football and endorsements.I actually thought Christiano Ronaldo will get more cash and possibly become number one this year considering the paparazzi attention he has been getting lately but it is obvious that Beckam is still the football cash KING and he is not ready to relinquish the title anytime soon. One thing that surprised me though, is that football Legend (is it too early to call him that?) Lionel Messi earned only  €14 million and landed on the 6th spot.

Mourinho: Man City striker Balotelli should have stayed in Italy

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho believes Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli should have stayed with Inter Milan.
Balo hinted that he had received an offer from Real Madrid before choosing Manchester City.
“I don’t know if it was right for him to leave Italy. In my view the problem wasn’t so much Italy or England as much as his lack of balance.
“In any case, we talked on the telephone and I like speaking to my former players. He asked about the Premier League, he knows what I think of him and despite our problems I’m pleased to note he realises how much I care for him.
“Now he can improve with Roberto Mancini, especially as they already know each other.”

Kim Kardashian experiments with Botox

Kim Kardashian had a painful start to the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, enduring a bruised face as a result of a televised Botox procedure. After emails and comments flooded her blog, the 29-year-old reality star decided to come clean about the incident. “On the show you saw I had some bruising around my eyes after the procedure, which is totally natural, but because I hadn’t looked into the side effects, I freaked out,” she writes on her website. “In no way was Dr. Kassabian a bad doctor… it wasn’t a botched job at all!!” That doesn’t, however, mean that she’ll be trying it again anytime soon. “I am not against botox, and I would never judge anyone else for getting any kind of surgical or non surgical procedure, but I think when you’re young there are other ways you can look after your skin….Botox just wasn’t necessary for me at this age.” The star points to FusionBeauty’s Illumifill, a product that she represents as a spokesperson, as her go-to instead.

I really do not know what she is doing with Botox at this young age.

Ancelotti: Man City are title contenders

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admited  that Manchester City are title contenders after yesterday's defeat.
The victory was City's third in succession against Chelsea, after they completed the league double last season, and although Roberto Mancini has already written off his side's title chances, his opposite number is not so sure.
Ancelotti said: "It's not a good place for us. Manchester City are a very good team. They are growing quickly and will be an opponent for the title."

Who is this?

It is multi award winning rapper Eminem.

Goldie...I don’t think anyone should take nonsense ...

She started making money at 16 by working in supermarkets in the United Kingdom. Even though she is from a well to do background in Nigeria, Lagos State born Susan Goldie Harvey came into music by accident.
Since 2007 when she debuted, the U.K trained Business Administrator now signed to Kennis Music, has finally found her sound as she shows off in her ‘You like it’ track co-written with and produced by eLDee. In this interview with Lolade Sowoolu, she tells of her unfortunate love story and her friendless background. Enjoy her submissions.

The Goldie image painted in your videos is a tough one. It’s surprising there isn’t as much fence around you in person. Is the video image deliberate?
Let me call my label manager to answer that question.
Manager Joel: Yes, you get that impression when you watch her videos but when you meet her in person, she’s simple and there hasn’t been any problem managing her. People say positive things about her.
Is there a difference between Goldie and Susan Harvey?
The image on TV is not to create some kind of hardness. It’s just what I like. I like wearing what I wear and making up the way I do. If you were there on set while I was shooting that video, you’d find out that I was just laughing.
The theme of the song dictates the mood I get into. I’ve smiled in past videos that have friendly themes. People say that the image distances them from me but I don’t see it that way. What I see rather is that it (the image) creates a larger than life entity of me.
And you enjoy that life…
Of course! Like every entertainer before me, including Elton John, Madonna, Michael Jackson… They all have this larger than life image. Meanwhile, if you meet them one on one, you’ll find out that they’re so shy, and in fact, the shiest ones are the ones that cover up with heavy make up.
Just like you…?
I’m very shy actually. I’m shy but confident because I believe in myself. I’m shy and I don’t like crowded places. I’d rather just be alone by myself in my house and come out once in a while. I’m very reserved.
How is it transiting from Goldie to Susan?
There’s no transition at all; I just dress up. Goldie’s an alter ego that comes naturally.
Whenever I’m meant to be Goldie, it just happens. I don’t feel the change. I just feel like I’m doing the right thing at the right time. I see it as an opportunity to present one’s self in another light. Goldie’s daring but ultimately, they (Goldie and Susan) have the same core values.
Are you fashionable as in your videos?
I like to play with colours. I like to experiment. We learn everyday by experimenting in trial and error forms. There are a lot of times that I don’t know what I’m wearing. I just like to put stuffs together. As long as it flatters my body at the end of the day, I’m fine.
You should make a statement with your clothes even if you don’t know what statement you’re making. That’s my opinion. I like to look good. I like eclectic stuff like lace, satin, voil. I’m very Victorian in my fashion sense. As for make up, it’s just part of an entertainer’s life.
Any no go areas for you when it comes to fashion?
I don’t like having more than five to six colours on me at a time, no matter the fabric. I find it appalling having purple, grey, pink, yellow all together. It screams. I like subtle colours. My fabric could have lace and leather together but the colours mustn’t be far apart.
What’s responsible for your uniqueness?
I can’t tell exactly but I do know that while growing up, my mum never liked sewing clothes for us. We always had ready_made outfits and most of them usually had lace or satin. I think that’s what formed my taste. Again, I look at the human figure. It’s shaped like No. 8. So, personally, in terms of fashion, I try to enhance it.
Let’s talk about your growing up.
I come from a very educated background. My mum had three degrees. On her desk in the bank, she’d display them. My dad was also a bank boss while we were growing up before he started his own business. I’m the first born and we’re from Ikole Ekiti in Ekiti state. I used to have three siblings but I now have five because my mum had a set of twins last year (laughs).
Growing up was sad. I grew up in Anthony area of Lagos state. My parents didn’t l
et us have friends and my schools weren’t far from the house. Apart from school and church, I didn’t know anybody. I’d come back home from school and that was it. I wasn’t allowed any toys because my dad felt I was given to flights of fantasy .
I had a teddy bear someone once bought for me but my father took it away when I was seven. He said I used to make the teddy bear fly. I’m a bit older than my younger sister. So, I practically grew up alone, without friends and I guess it helped me somehow because I took up writing.
Is your mum equally Yoruba?
My mum is Ijebu and my dad, Ikole. I got into reading a lot of books because there was nothing to do with my time. It got so bad in secondary school that I’d write mini novels for my friends to read.
Writing novels isn’t bad…
Not when the mini novels were my interpretation of Mills and Booms (laughter)
You must have been reading Mills and Booms…
My mum was a Mills and Boom fanatic. So, every book she dropped after reading, I read.
We were almost in competition. There was a point I’d brag to my mum that, ‘I read this book in less than a point’ and she’d say, ‘I can read it in four hours’ (laughter).
That was the only fun I had because my parents were very strict and thought bad friends would put me in trouble. That’s why I like my own company now. I have friends but I’m not the type to go looking for them. I wasn’t brought up that way. I did all the stage plays in church and choir stuff. Let me just say I grew up early because my friends were my mum, aunt and grand-mum.
And after secondary school, you rebelled?
Well, there was a bit of rebellion. That’s why I have a degree in Business Administration from the University of Sunderland, UK. I left Nigeria about a year after secondary school.
You were allowed to go alone?
I have a family in the U.K My parents ensured I went to them.
What did you do with freedom when you finally had it?
There was the fear of experimenting. I was a bit scared to do things I hadn’t done before because I wasn’t brought up doing them.
You were a good girl throughout…
I wasn’t a good girl exactly. I experimented in different ways. Obviously, you’ll go out with friends and have fun. We formed a mini pop group and performed underground by the railway (laughs) and people would pass by and put coins. I did crazy stuffs like that.
Were you hungry?
No, I wasn’t. I don’t even know why we were doing that. Maybe, we were thinking one ‘big’ person would pass and sign us to a record label or so. We were a bunch of pretty girls.
It sounds to me like you’d thought of professional singing quite early…
Maybe subconsciously. I knew I was going to have something to do with entertainment. I was actually thinking it would be movie production.
So, why study Business Management?
My dad wanted me to be a lawyer but Law could have taken about eight years to study unlike Business Management which was three and half years. I wanted to finish quick.
For me, that was the easiest I could take. When I went to the UK, I was working instead of getting allowances. When I tell people I’ve been making money for myself since I was 16, they find it laughable but it’s true because I was on my own.
Where did you work?
I worked in supermarkets. I wasn’t a very patient person, so I met a lot of people that thought me patience, especially when working as a young black girl. It was quite an experience.
Did you feel sad that a girl from a rich home like yours became a shop girl?
I was happy most of the times but I remember one time I called my mum because a boy called me a monkey. She said, ‘Are you a monkey’? I said “No”. Then she said,
‘so, why are you crying?’
And what about the good parts, did you have the passes?
Not exactly. I never really had a lot of that. The passes didn’t come until I was much older. Maybe, if I had a lot of passes in my younger days, I would have had children by now.
From singing for coins, you went professional?
My first single was released in Nigeria in 2007. It’s titled ‘Komole’. I started a date reminder service in Nigeria and wanted to make a jingle for my company. I was introduced to Manny of Cool FM and in the process of production I told him I was in a band in UK and all that.
It turned out that we had more in common because I used to play the piano when I was younger in Secondary school before singing rock songs in the band. So, he created some beats and I went to the studio with some poems I had written earlier.
From there, I met OJB and that was it. When I look back now, it’s more like music happened on me and I didn’t go looking for it. It was afterwards that I realized that this is what I always wanted to do and God has a way of putting you in the right path when your time is right.
Let’s talk about your new sound.
I’m more in tune with myself now. So, I know my sound better. I’m also on a label now.
I like fancy fairy tales and this video was not any different. I came up with the concept of the video. I had done a photo shoot with Lawson and Clarence (the video director) used them. The song was released on radio sometimes in April and the video was shot in June.
How much of a fairy tale is the song (You like it)?
My intention is never to snatch anyone’s husband or spouse. I’m not that sort of person. I think it’s just a song that anyone can relate to, something to inspire confidence in anyone. It says, ‘I could’ (Mo le) but ‘I won’t take your man.’ I’ll rather slap you if you misbehave.
It sounds like Goldie is a no-nonsense person…
I don’t think anyone should take nonsense from any other person. I think we all should respect each other. Respect should be mutual. ‘You like it’ is a feel-good song.
Who wrote the song?
It’s a collaboration. Each person wrote his part. Mr Kenny (her record label boss) thought we should do a collaboration because my style and eLDee’s were similar. He (Mr Kenny) listened to some of my songs and we (together with eLDee) have this Europe funk feel going on in our songs. I remember him saying eLDee and Goldie rhyme.
Is any of the other girls in your early ‘girl band’ into music professionally today? No, and it’s really weird.
When will the album hit the street?
It’s dropping this month and I have other collaborations apart from eLDee’s. There’s one with Jaywon titled, ‘Jawo’, another one with Baba Keke, Kas and Minjin- the Centage superstar. The album’s titled ‘Gold’ and has 15 tracks. There are about five collaborations in all.
Tell me about your first love experiment.
The only love experience I had while I was in primary school was punctuated measles. And a girl gave it to me.
When was the first time you fell in love?
As for real love, most of the guys I love don’t love me back. I end up with guys that love me but I don’t love as much. I’ve never had the perfect relationship but I’m in one right now and it’s a loving one. I’ve learnt that if you can get someone who loves you, just need to love him back.
What do you remember of your first relationship?
I don’t want to talk about it. It was a mistake and I don’t dwell on mistakes.

Nicky Minaj on the cover of Complex Magazine

Nicki Minaj: On “My Chick Bad,” I had to show people that I can spit a verse without sex or talking about how good I look. I’m actually timid when it comes to being overtly sexy, which is weird because in the beginning people thought of me like some freakin’ porn star. Guys reference sex
all the time in their raps—I can’t even think of a record where Wayne doesn’t talk about sex—but when a female does it, people start tuning out. Then this gay dude the other day told me, “I say to dudes, ‘Maybe it’s time to put this pussy on your sideburns.’” I was crying laughing and I was like, “I can’t take this shit out of my act.” People live for that shit. [Laughs.] I just have to balance it a little bit.

Cute, Preety, Sexy

Have you ever wondered how girls are categorised .Well just saw this and thought i share it with you guys..

CUTE         Generally speaking, when I describe a woman as being “cute” there’s something youthful or playful about her. Maybe she dresses real casual in jeans and tee or keeps her hairstyle basic; whatever the case she gives off a vibe that’s more laidback than sophisticated. A lot of times petite and short women fall into this category for me, too. That’s not to say that cute is bad or anything because you have to be attractive to be cute, but there’s more of an urge to pinch her cheeks than her butt. Well, sometimes. You know who’s “cute” to me? Jessica Alba, Lauren London and Malinda Williams.

PRETTY            When it comes to “pretty;” that’s usually a term reserved for a woman with just a stunning face. Someone I could stare at for hours as if her cheekbones were chiseled out of sun-baked marble and her skin glowed like a solar eclipse. A pretty woman is a definite looker, but there’s a tad more edge to her than her cute counterpart. You know who’s “pretty” to me? Jill Scott, Kelly Rowland and Gabrielle Union.

SEXY           As expected, a woman that’s called “sexy” just radiates sexual energy. It could be her irresistibly pouty lips, a pair of hypnotizing brown eyes or as simple as the way she saunters into a room. This woman just has that “it” factor that causes you to constantly undress her with your eyes and let your imagination run wild. You know who’s “sexy” to me? Keri Hilson, Rihanna and Kerry Washington,Kim Kardashian,Halle Berry.

IS A MIXTAPE THE SAME AS AN ALBUM?

A mixtape is usually a collection of songs or rap lyrics made over other people’s beats. It is not an album and can not be released by a record company because it is illegal to sell mixtapes that include feestyles over another rapper's beat unless the use of the beat has been paid for. A mixtape requires less money to compile. Most new rap artist use it as a way of promoting themselves  and making themselves popular till they get signed by a record label. Drake got noticed with the help of his very successful mixtape
An album is released through a record company. The album is usually what you can find in the stores and looks more official.

Assassins Kill EFCC's Forensic Chief

Barely five months after five operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, were ambushed by unknown persons in Enugu which led to the death of Sergeant Edoga Eze, another top shot of the anti-graft body, Mr. Abdulahi Muazu, was, yesterday, killed by unknown assassins in his Kaduna residence.
This is just as the agency said that about 1,000 hoodlums have allegedly been hired to burn down its zonal office in Port Harcourt. Muazu who was head of the forensic unit of the agency was killed in the early hours of Tuesday.
A statement signed by the agency's Head of Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Babafemi, said the agency condemned the spate of killings of its top officials.
The statement said: "The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has condemned the murder of one of its top officials in the early hours of Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in his residence in Kaduna.
"Information reaching the Commission today (yesterday) confirms that our head of forensic unit was killed in a cruel manner in the early hours of today by unknown assailants.
Vanguard gathered that the Chairman of the EFCC, Mrs Farida Waziri, had already directed a team of operatives from the Abuja headquarters office of the Commission to proceed to Kaduna to assist the relevant security agencies in the investigation of the murder.

Planned attack on PH offices
Meanwhile, the Commission said that information available to it indicates that its office in Port Harcourt was about to be attacked by hoodlums.
"This is to be followed by yet another protest by various women groups rejecting the presence of EFCC in the state. The real motive behind these sponsored protests is to set ablaze the Commission's zonal office in Port Harcourt in a desperate bid to cripple the EFCC's activities in the state and the entire South_South region.
"The Commission wishes to assure all that while it will continue to do its work within the ambit of the law, it has the right to defend itself and its officials against hirelings who have been paid to attack us under the guise of staging protests.
"The EFCC remains a creation of the laws of the Nigerian Federation and as such, no force of gangsterism in any part of the country will stop it from carrying out its statutory responsibilities."
It would be recalled that in the last 24 months four officers of the anti_graft agency had lost their lives, a situation which made Mrs. Waziri to indicate during the presentation of a N9 million cheque the family of the slain Sergeant Eze early in the year that men and women of the agency would begin to carry arms in self defence if confronted by ugly situations.

Flawless Facial skin starts Now

Everyone desires to have beautiful skin and  alot has been said about the need to look young even in old age but do you know that you have to start taking good care of your skin early to have lovely flawless skin when old. The skin you have when young is   given to you by nature but the skin you have when old, is earned by you. Skin care and maintenance is easy if you follow the following basic steps of cleansing, toning, using a facial scrub and moisturizing. Most people still have problems with their skin because they do not know the type of skin they have.
The first process in facial skin care is to know your skin type. There are basically four types of skin and they are Dry, Normal, Oily and Combination. Once you are able to determine your skin type, the process of effective skin care has begun.
If you do not know your skin type, please follow these simple steps:
Wash your skin and wait for 45mins.
1) Take a clean wide tissue and place it evenly, all over your face at once.
2) Take it out.
If you notice stains all over the tissue, you have oily skin.
If you notice stains on your T-zone (That is your nose and forehead), then you have combination skin.
BUT
If your face feels tight for a long time after washing you have dry skin
If your skin does not feel tight after washing or oily when you place tissue on it, then you have normal skin.
The sure proof way of finding out though, is to see a dermatologist to help determine your skin type. Once you know your skin type, the process of effective skin care has begun.
Cleansing:
This is actually the first and most important process .You do this first thing in the morning and last thing at night. There are different types of cleansers out there, but the most important thing is finding a cleanser that is suitable for your type of skin. I always advise people to use facial cleansers that will not strip their skin of its moisture content.

I love NEUTROGENA DEEP CLEAN   and love Cetaphil  gentle skin cleanser
Toning:
This is the second process. After cleansing your skin, you use the toner to remove any trace of cleanser that may be left. I personally will not encourage people with dry skin to use a facial toner, because it has the tendency to dry out your skin.

I love L’Oreal gentle toning lotion

 Scrub
When you use the facial scrub, it removes all the dead skin cells on your face. This part is very important because as you get older, skin renewal becomes slower. That is why the skin gets dull as you age. You need to scrub your skin regularly to remove the dead skin cells that stay on the surface of your skin . This should be done once a week as over scrubbing will irritate your skin and leave it sore.
I love Neutrogena  deep clean scrub

Moisturize:
Moisturize! Moisturize!!Moisturize!!!This cannot be over emphasized but unfortunately ,it is an aspect that is skipped by most people( especially people with oily skin). It is very important because  as we go about our daily activities, moisture is stripped from our skin, leaving our skin dry and when we do not moisturize frequently , our skin ages faster. When choosing your moisturizer, you should choose the one suitable for your skin type. If you use moisturizer formulated for dry skin on an oily skin, it can clog your pores leading to breakout (pimples) on your face. There are different moisturizers  for every skin (even those with oily skin). The most important thing is to choose the one suitable for your skin type and we  should also choose one with SPF of at least 15 to protect your skin from harmful sun rays that damage our skin.
 I love Almay Daily moisturizer
Anthony Logistic oil free facial lotion for men
You can do other things like steaming with special oils, applying facial mask and so on. But the above basic steps if followed diligently will help you have beautiful flawless facial skin at any age.

OMOTOLA ON FAMILY AND GENEVIEVE

On Genevieve
“It is the press that has made a big deal out of this. I don’t know what the issue is with her and I can not really throw more light into it .Personally I have been talking about it and I have always made it clear that there has never been any problem between us. When they do not see us in the same car, in the same house, in the same event or whatever then they think we have a problem .But as long as it brings us money, we are fine”.
On marriage
“Seriously I do not have any credit in this at all, because left to me I probably would have been divorced because of my schedule, because it is very hard. So I give all the credit first and foremost to God and then to my husband, I have a good man, he is like an angel. It is not easy for a spouse to be married to an entertainer. It is one of the hardest things anywhere in the world”
In theinterview she granted City People.

Usher on failed marriage and Music

Usher's marriage to Tameka Foster may have ended in divorce, but the singer doesn't consider the relationship a failure.

"I appreciate the relationship for what it was," he says. "Even though it didn't work out, I'm glad we got together. I love her as the mother of my children; we just couldn't be married."
So what went wrong? Usher says that shortly after the birth of their second child, he and Foster started to disagree over everything from parenting style to his busy schedule.
We're two different people," he says, "and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent."
The singer, 31, who sat down with PEOPLE in his Atlanta-area home, says that the couple's priority continues to be their children. (He and Foster share custody of Usher V, who turns 3 in November, and Naviyd, who turns 2 a month later.)
"We had to put our issues aside and focus on raising them," he says. "There will never be another mother for my sons, and I'll always be their father."

Life Father, Like Sons
Raising two boisterous boys can be challenging, especially when they take after their famous dad. "Usher [V] is always in everything," he says. "He's an instigator. He's the one who leads his brother astray. I was like that when I was his age."
Naviyd is more of a follower, doing whatever his big brother does. "So if one gets in trouble, the other one does, too," says Usher. "They both have a lot of energy. They can wear me out."

Fortunately, Usher has a babysitter nearby – his mom, Jonetta Patton, lives around the corner. "She spoils them," Usher says with a sigh. "She lets them do everything that she wouldn't let me do. Sometimes, when I'm scolding the kids, I sound just like my mom. I'm like, 'how did Jonetta get in here?' "

His Career
"My music is about where I am at the time," he says. "In Raymond vs. Raymond, I was going through a lot of things, and it came out in my music. My marriage fell apart and I was suddenly a single father. But now, with Versus, I'm singing about being a dating father."
And will he sing about falling in love again? "I still believe in love," says Usher. "I believe in marriage. When I fall in love again, everyone will know. I'll sing about it."

Haute couture VS Pret a Porter

Christian Dior

Armani Prive
Elle Saab

HAUTE COUTURE
Haute couture is a term for high sewing. It is a term usually used when referring to the creations of exclusive fashion houses. It is a common term for custom fitted clothing as produced primarily in Paris but also in other fashion capitals such as New York,Milan and London.Haute couture is not only custom made for a specific customer,it is also made from high quality expensive fabric, sewn with extreme attention to detail and finish, often using time consuming hand executed techniques. When you go to the store of your chosen fashion house, you are given a catalogue to go through and choose the style of your choice. After choosing the style you are given an appointment for your dress fitting where it is made according to your body measurement. The specific time given to collect your cloth can take several months because of the extreme attention to detail. These creation are usually made exclusively for the rich.

PRET a PORTER
Pret a Porter is another word for "Ready to wear" or what is commonly known as "Ready Made".It is more of a line made in different sizes (8,10,12........).They are sold in different stores and boutiques (not necessarily the fashion house's boutique) and are usually alot cheaper and bought off the rack. The attention to detail is not much because they are mass produced. However if you want the dresses fitted according to your body size or altered, you are charged extra box for this.
