Kanye West's Fourth Album Debuts At Number 1. Nicki Minaj Takes 2nd Spot

  Kanye West earned his  fourth consecutive chart topping album as his latest disc, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, debuted at #1 with sales of 518,775 according to Hits Daily Double.

fifth album to sell 400,000 or more in it’s opening week. His last album, 808 & Heartbreaks, moved 450,145 units in it’s first week of release.
   Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday exploded on the charts. The rapper's debut disc comes in at #2 selling 371,049.It is the largest first-week sale for a female hip-hop artist since Lauryn Hill’s landmark album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which moved 422,624 units in its first week.
  LOUD, Rihanna’s fourth album, slipped to #6. The set moved an additional 133,662 this week. Justin Bieber’s album, My Worlds Acoustic, enters the chart at #7 with sales of 119,485. The album is Bieber’s third consecutive top ten debut.
  Ne-Yo’s Libra Scale opens with 117,800 at #8. Katy Perry shoots back into the top twenty thanks to a sales increase of +195%. Teenage Dream, which spawned two #1 singles, “California Gurls” featuring Snoop Dogg and the title track, lands at #14 selling 75,178 copies.
  The third studio album from Taylor Swift, 'Speak Now' saw a +71% sales increase as the disc sold 255,991 copies coming in at #3 this week. The album debuted at #1  in October with first-week sales of 1,047,000 copies, and has since sold just under 1.4 million in the U.S.
  Susan Boyle’s The Gift falls to #4 after spending two-week atop the chart selling 250,403 – bringing the album’s three-week sales total to just under one million copies.
