DMX Sentenced To One Year In Prison

    Rapper DMX will end 2010 with a year-long prison term, as the rapper’s probation was officially revoked in Arizona today (December 16th). The Maricopa County Superior Court revoked the rap star’s

probation from 2009, stemming from a conviction on fraud charges, identity theft, assault and a variety of other misdemeanor charges. DMX, born Earl Simmons, will be sent back to prison for a full year, after he was arrested on November 18th by officers who arrested the rapper for failing to check in with probation officers and abusing prescription drugs without a prescription. The rapper DMX tested positive for cocaine and oxycontin and admitted to using drinking alcohol, another violating of the terms of his probation. DMX will spend his time in Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s infamous Tent City jail, where inmates are forced to wear pink, stripped jail suits. His dislike for the jail is well documented. In February of 2009, the rapper lost his cool in the prison and threw a tray of food at a prison guard, resulting in an added assault charge against the officer. “They talk to you any kind of way,” DMX said of his At the end of the day, I am still a man,” DMX said.

Nick Cannon Confirms That Mariah Carey Is Expecting Twins

   Nick Cannon confirmed on his radio show Rollin’ With Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW that he and Mariah Carey are expecting twins!

     Nick told the story of how after Mariah’s performance of a song called One Child, the

first couple asked her about her pregnancy and an emotional Mariah revealed the news that they were expecting twins!

"On Friday, you will see my wife perform in front of the President and the first family … and she opens the show with a song she wrote called “One Child” which is kind of ironic. It’s a festive holiday song … she even speaks of how she was inspired writing this song and being pregnant. So as she’s singing this song and goes backstage and has the opportunity to speak with the President and the First Family, and they even questioned my wife about ‘So what are you having, are you having twins?’ At this point she hadn’t told anybody anything … and because of the excitement, she was overwhelmed and she shared with the President that we are having twins."

   Today, Dele Momodu resigned from his membership of the Labour Party (LP) after several attempts to reason with the party leadership on the need to field a candidate for the 2011 presidential election, failed. His decision to leave the Labour Party (LP) is based purely on principle as the party is now being dangled like a carrot in the face of the highest bidders.

  Only last week, the party's National Chairman - Barr. Dan Nwanyanwu announced to the media that his mandate in 2011 is not to field a presidential candidate.

Timaya Gets Globacom Deal

     Rumour has it that controversial singer, Timaya has sealed an endorsement deal with Telecoms giant Globacom to become one of it’s ambassadors.

The deal is rumoured to be worth 87 million Naira and runs for the next two years...
